Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts to Global Research Development Journal of Engineering (GRDJE). All submissions are initially assessed by an editor to determine whether they fit the aims and scope of the journal. Submissions considered a good fit are sent for double-blind peer review before a final decision is made to accept or reject.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author and approve the final version submitted. Where appropriate, research involving human or animal subjects should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country, and this approval should be stated in the manuscript.

An editor may desk-reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and clearly articulated. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This increases the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.

Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts should be submitted in [Word/RTF] format, using [12-point, Times New Roman] font with [1.5/double] line spacing.
- Manuscripts must include: Title, Author(s) name and affiliation, Abstract (150–250 words), Keywords (4–6), Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References.
- Citation and referencing style: [IEEE / APA / other — specify].
- All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and placed within the text at the appropriate points, with clear captions.
- Manuscript length: [specify word/page limit].

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate submissions for originality, technical soundness, clarity, and relevance to the journal's scope. Based on reviewer recommendations, the editor makes a final decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript. The typical review period is [X weeks].

Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism/similarity using [Turnitin/iThenticate/other tool] prior to being sent for peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index above [X%] will be returned to the author or rejected.

Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. A conflict of interest statement (or a statement that none exists) must be included in the manuscript.

Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Published articles are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing free use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Article Processing Charge (APC)
[State the amount and currency, and what it covers — or state "This journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC)."]

Archiving Policy
This journal ensures long-term preservation of its content through [LOCKSS / CLOCKSS / national library digital archive / institutional repository — specify].

Submission Process
Authors must register on the journal website and submit manuscripts through the online submission system. Submissions via email are not accepted unless otherwise instructed by the editorial office.
